Sharon Prince Took Her Vision And Made It A Reality

Have you ever had this wonderful vision but struggled to make it a reality for one reason or another? Everyone struggles with this, even people like Sharon Prince.

Sharon Prince is President and Chair of the Sharon Prince Grace Farms. Her vision was to take this 80-acre space located in Connecticut. Prince knew that this space could make a difference in people’s lives, but she needed to surround herself with the right people to see this vision through.

Besides her role at Grace Farms, she is also a board member at Next Generation Nepal, a charity organization that seeks to reconnect victims of child exploitation with their loved ones.

Sharon Prince wanted to create a space that celebrated nature, the arts, the community, social justice, faith, and more. How do you go about accomplishing something that seems almost impossible? It all starts with the vision followed by having an experienced leader. Sharon Prince was born to create change. Her work in fighting childhood exploitation, violence against women, and human trafficking helped her to reach her vision.

Through her efforts, Sharon Prince Grace Farms Foundation has managed to grab highly coveted awards including the AIA National 2017 Architecture Honor Awards, as well as the 2016 Innovation by Design Award by the Fast Company.

However, Prince could not create Grace Farms on her own. She needed a team that understood her vision and were experts in their own field, and that is what happened.
